Workability Bucks

Employment based activity can be an extremely beneficial process for anyone out of work; be it vocational training, voluntary work or paid employment. It is readily recognised that work has a positive effect on our mental health and returning to work after an injury or illness can be seen as one of the final steps in recovery.

For those who have never been in work, starting your first ever job and receiving your very first wage can be an amazing step on the road towards independence.

As a carer, supporting someone with a disability into work  can be a very challenging process. There are various local services which can help with this as well as national services which can provide more general support.

This section lists the various services which you can contact for help, includes general information about the welfare benefits you may be entitled to claim on behalf of a client with a disability and also answers some frequently asked questions relating to work.

Finally, it also includes some testimonials from carers, giving their thoughts and opinions as to how they think their clients have fared during the process of returning to work.
